Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on Friday night after complaining of breathing problems, raising concerns among his fans and well-wishers. However, sources close to the actor have confirmed that his condition is stable and there is nothing to worry about.According to journalist Vicky Lalwani, who first shared the information, Dharmendra was taken to the hospital after he complained of breathing problems. He posted on social media, “Dharmendra had come to the hospital complaining of difficulty in breathing. He is in the ICU and is sleeping right now.”

Although reports suggested that it was a routine checkup, journalist Vicky Lalwani took to her X (earlier Twitter) handle to reveal the real reason behind Dharmendra’s hospitalization. Read on to know the reason behind Dharmendra’s hospitalization.

Reason for Dharmendra’s hospitalization

In her post, Vicky claimed that the Sholay actor was taken to the hospital after he complained of breathing problems. He wrote, “Dharmendra is in the ICU of Breach Candy Hospital. When I contacted the hospital, I was told that the veteran actor had come complaining of breathing problems. As of now, his vital parameters are fine and his condition is stable.”

Hospital staff confirmed

An unnamed hospital staff also confirmed that Dharmendra’s condition is stable, and said, “No, there is nothing to worry about right now. His condition is stable. His parameters are fine – heart rate is 70, blood pressure is 140 times 80. His urine output is also fine.”

Let us tell you that Dharmendra was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai for regular checkup. According to sources close to the family, there is nothing to worry about. “Given his age, he undergoes several medical checkups from time to time, and this visit is just for that. He is absolutely fine, and there is nothing to worry about,” the source said.

On the work front, senior actor Dharmendra will next be seen in Sriram Raghavan’s war drama, Ikkis, which is scheduled to release in December 2025. The film also stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Agastya Nanda and Simar Bhatia in lead roles.
