Bollywood’s ‘Queen’ and MP Kangana Ranaut remains in the news for her upcoming much-awaited film ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhaata’. The film is all set to hit the theaters this week on June 12, 2026. Just ahead of the release, on Tuesday, June 9, a high-profile special screening of the film was held by the makers in the country’s capital Delhi. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta along with many big faces from the film industry and politics also attended this special screening. After watching the film, the Chief Minister appeared very emotional and praised Kangana Ranaut’s acting and the story of the film.

Rekha Gupta praised ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhaata’

After the screening, Rekha Gupta praised the film and its story. The story pays tribute to the doctors, nurses and healthcare workers who dedicated themselves to the service of humanity during the 26/11 terror attacks. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta wrote on her

We saw how 15 nurses saved the lives of 400 patients that night, proving that courage does not depend on any uniform; courage is an important quality of human character. Kangana praised the courage shown by our nurses that night. It has been shown very well… I appeal to people across the country and the world to watch this film.” Apart from this, they also intend to make this film tax-free so that everyone can watch it in theatres. He said, “I wish that the Delhi government should make this film tax-free so that every child, every youth and every family can come to watch it.”

Hindi drama film ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhaata’ directed by Manoj Tapadia is the story of the hospital staff who work day and night to save the lives of 400 people trapped in Cama Hospital. They keep people alive while armed attackers are attacking throughout the city during a terrorist attack in India. The film also stars Girija Oak, Smita Tambe, Amrita Namdev, Isha Dey, Priya Berde, Asha Shelar, Suhita Thatte, Rasika Aghase, Aditya Mishra and Zahid Khan in important roles.
