Popular Hollywood actor and producer Patrick Muldoon died of a heart attack on Sunday (April 19) morning. Muldoon, 57, was primarily known for his memorable character ‘Austin Reed’ on the long-running soap opera ‘Days of Our Lives’.He was 57 years old.Born in San Pedro, California, Muldoon graduated from the University of Southern California, where he was also a part of the Trojans football team. He started his acting career while still in college, when he appeared in the sitcom ‘Who’s the Boss?’ Worked in two episodes of; And soon after graduation in 1991, she got a regular role in ‘Saved by the Bell’. Over the years, Muldoon has built a strong career in TV and film, starring in projects such as ‘Super Troopers’, ‘Saving Christmas’ and ‘Melrose Place’.

However, he is most recognized for his role in the popular soap opera ‘Days of Our Lives’, where he played Austin Reed from 1992 to 1995, and later played the same character again from 2011 to 2012.
In addition to acting, Muldoon also served as an executive producer on several films, including ‘The Tribes of Palos Verdes’, ‘Marlowe’, ‘Arkansas’, ‘The Dreadful’ and ‘The Card Counter’. His upcoming film ‘Dirty Hands’ is going to be released later this year.

According to Deadline, Muldoon was also fond of music. He was often seen with his guitar, and was also the lead singer of the band ‘The Sleeping Masses’.
His family includes his partner Miriam Rothbart, parents Deanna and Patrick Muldoon Sr., sister and brother-in-law Shana and Ahmet Zappa, and his children—niece Hello and nephew Arrow Zappa.
