Bollywood actress and BJP MP from Mandi Kangana Ranaut has suddenly become a topic of discussion on social media regarding an old incident related to her 2014 film ‘Revolver Rani’. In this film, Kangana shot a very passionate kissing scene with famous actor and stand-up comedian Veer Das. Now, after so many years, a shocking claim by senior journalist Simi Chandhok has brought this scene back into the limelight. Journalist Simi Chandhok claims that during the shooting of ‘Revolver Rani’, Kangana Ranaut did not stop even after the director said ‘cut’, due to which Veer Das got injured. After this claim went viral, various things started happening on social media, on which Veer Das himself has now come forward and told the truth.

Veer Das wrote on his X account, ‘Okay. Let me just clean it. This story is completely imaginary. Kangana was a complete professional and I still believe that she is a truly talented artiste. This is a false allegation against him. They called me a terrorist for my comedy a few years later, but on the set… there was no problem.

Kangana responded to this matter in 2023
Although this matter has come up again recently, Kangana Ranaut had talked about these rumors in 2023 itself. At that time, such claims were going on on social media that Veer Das’s lips started bleeding due to their kiss. Responding humorously on her Instagram story, Kangana wrote, ‘After Hrithik Roshan, did I play with the dignity of poor Veer Das? When did this happen?’ He also accompanied his post with funny emojis – laughing, sticking out his tongue and holding his head – making it clear that he dismissed the news as mere rumours.

‘Revolver Rani’ directed by Sai Kabir was a dark comedy-drama in which Kangana played the role of a politician and gangster named Alka Singh. Apart from Kangana and Vir Das, actors like Piyush Mishra, Zakir Hussain and Pankaj Saraswat played important roles in the film. Although the film did not perform very well at the box office, Kangana’s unique style and her on-screen chemistry with Vir Das attracted a lot of attention. Talking about the work of both the actors, Kangana Ranaut was recently seen in the film ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhaata’, which was released in theaters on June 12. The film shows the true story of bravery and selfless service of the staff of Cama Hospital during the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai in 2008.
