Homi Adajania directed and Shahid Kapoor starrer ‘Cocktail 2’ had a good opening weekend. The film starring Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna had also passed the first Monday test. ‘Cocktail 2′ How much did it collect on the 5th day?
Due to the songs and trailer of Shahid Kapoor’s previous release ‘Cocktail 2’, this film had created a lot of buzz even before its release. People were also excited about the star cast of the film. In such a situation, despite the mixed reviews received from critics after hitting the theatres, it took a good start by earning Rs 13.50 crore. Then on the opening weekend it showed a tremendous surge and while on Saturday it collected Rs 16.25 crores, on Sunday it collected Rs 17.75 crores.
Homi Adajania’s spiritual sequel ‘Cocktail 2’ is currently going through a significant first week at the box office. Amidst all this, the romantic drama has crossed the important figure of domestic net earning of Rs 50 crore on Monday.
- According to Sacknilk’s early trend report, ‘Cocktail 2’ has earned Rs 6.65 crore on the fifth day of its release i.e. Tuesday.
- With this, the total net earning of this romantic comedy drama in India in 5 days is now Rs 60.90 crore.
Cocktail 2 entered the top 5 films of the year
Although there has been a decline in the earnings of Cocktail 2 during the weekdays, its record making process continues. On the 5th day of its release i.e. Tuesday, it entered the top 5 films of the year 2026. It has excluded Varun Dhawan starrer Jawaani Toh Ishq Hona Hai (59.48 crores) from this list.

Now the coming Friday is bringing the biggest commercial challenge till date for ‘Cocktail 2’. Actually, Akshay Kumar’s multi-starrer comedy ‘Welcome to the Jungle’, directed by Ahmed Khan, is releasing on this Friday, June 26 and it is expected that it will get a major share of the available screens and prime-time slots of multiplexes. In such a situation, it will be quite challenging for Cocktail 2 to maintain its hold on the box office.
