Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is embroiled in a controversy related to his alleged exit from Farhan Akhtar’s film ‘Don 3’. The matter escalated further when the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) issued a ‘non-cooperation’ directive against the actor. Now, Cine and TV Artistes Association (CINTAA) head Poonam Dhillon has given her reaction on the matter.Speaking to ‘Variety India’, veteran actress Poonam Dhillon revealed that neither the federation, nor the producer, nor the actor contacted or involved CINTAA in the matter. He also said that if the matter had been brought before the Film Association, it could have been resolved.

Poonam Dhillon said, “CINTAA as an association wanted that if there was any problem, at least one of the parties should have contacted us. But since neither the artistes, nor the production house, nor the federation have contacted us, we are at a loss as to what to say as we do not have complete information.”
Poonam Dhillon further said, “Unless I have the correct information, I cannot give my opinion on any situation, because whatever we have heard has just been read in the media. It is a very strange situation, because it is a case of one of our members, but neither the artist, nor the producer, nor the federation has given us any information or taken us into confidence.”
Dhillon said that the matter could have been resolved in a better and peaceful manner. He said, “We could have tried to resolve the matter. That’s what our association is all about – to resolve such cases, disputes or any kind of problems that arise between actors and producers. Ranveer, who is part of CINTAA, could have involved us in the matter and contacted us, so that we could try to resolve the matter more amicably.”
Manoj Bajpayee reacts to FWICE ban on Ranveer Singh
Earlier, actor Manoj Bajpayee had also reacted to the FWICE ban on Ranveer Singh during the trailer launch event of his upcoming film ‘Governor: The Silent Savior’. He said, “This place is very wrong. I would like to tell you one thing that all the people in this industry, they only read about it on social media, and we do not have any detailed information about it. But as a colleague or partner, all we can say is that we hope that this matter will be resolved soon.”
