Taking her point further, Archana said, ‘My third serial was ‘CID’. You know that show often requires dead bodies. I got the role of a corpse in it and I was getting Rs 3000 per day for it. I still remember, when I was lying on the ground, the senior actors of CID were looking at me with my eyes open during the investigation. Now, I was not used to my brother being dead, so you understand how difficult it was. I have also seen those days and I have done such small roles in many TV serials. Hearing this from Archana, the show’s host Rajeev Khandelwal also praised her and said that there should be no shame in taking small steps in life. He said that no work is small. To make his mark, he has done everything from paying college fees to doing sales jobs. Archana told that at one time her mother had to work overtime for her studies.
