High-voltage drama and heated debates are being seen these days in the reality show ‘Lock Up: Sach Ya Saza’ streaming on OTT platform Netflix. In the recent episode of the show hosted by Riteish Deshmukh and Farah Khan, a debate broke out on the serious topic of marriage, trust and cheating, which has now taken social media by storm.Veteran TV and Bollywood actor Ram Kapoor defended infidelity on the show by saying that ‘cheating can happen even by mistake’. On this statement, fellow contestant Akanksha Chamola directly challenged him and strongly opposed him.
Ram Kapoor’s argument: “Marriage is a journey, don’t break the relationship for one mistake”
During a conversation on relationships, ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain’ fame actor Ram Kapoor argued that long marriages face difficult times and couples should not be hasty in ending their relationship just because of one mistake.

Ram Kapoor said“If you truly love your partner, nothing should be a reason to end the relationship. Marriage is hard and it’s a journey. You have to work hard every day to keep it going. There are ups and downs. In bad times, if something happens by mistake, and you can’t live without your partner or kids, everything gets better with time.”
When Akanksha Chamola said that infidelity cannot be called a mistake, Ram Kapoor stood his ground and said, “Sometimes it happens by mistake.”
Akanksha Chamola’s befitting reply: “This is not a stabbing”
Akanksha Chamola completely rejected this point of view of Ram Kapoor. Expressing his views in a very aggressive manner, he said that cheating is not an unknowable mistake.
Akanksha Chamola said“Sir, it doesn’t happen by mistake. It’s not a mistake. You get physically close to someone, it’s a whole process. You have to undress someone, take off your clothes, and then do this. You can’t say it’s a mistake. It’s not like I accidentally stabbed you.”

While this heated argument was going on between the two, Sunita Ahuja, another contestant of the show and wife of actor Govinda, kept sitting there silently and listening to everything. The episode ended before the argument could get any bigger.

As soon as this episode went on-air, the anger of the users erupted against Ram Kapoor on the social media platform X (Twitter), while Akanksha Chamola’s stand is being highly praised.
