India’s famous comedian Zakir Khan is in the news these days, but this time the reason is not a joke but his statement. During an award show, Zakir said something which angered many people in the film industry. Zakir said in gestures that some people of Bollywood are burning inside due to the success of the film Dhurandhar 2.
Zakir’s sharp taunt
While hosting the awards show, Zakir said that no matter how many congratulatory posts or interviews you give, the truth is that the success of Dhurandhar has given everyone sleepless nights. He sarcastically said in a filmy style, the bomb exploded in Lyari in the film, but smoke has blown from Bandra to Juhu. His indication was clear that the success of the film was not being digested by the big film stars living in Bandra and Juhu.

Stars came out in defense of the industry
After this statement of Zakir, a round of reactions started. Anand, while defending the Mumbai film circuit, said that the people of Juhu and Bandra have given many blockbuster films in the last 50 years. Without naming Zakir, he said that it would be foolish to underestimate his contribution.
Ameesha Patel’s tough stance
Actress Ameesha Patel also expressed her views on social media. He said that spreading negativity in the industry should be stopped. Superstars like Ameesha Nekaha, Shahrukh, Salman and Sunny Deol have given dozens of hit films and the film industry has always respected good films. Referring to his film, he wrote that everyone has already been creating rebellion for many years and will create it in future also.

Even though there is controversy over Zakir’s statement, the film Dhurandhar 2 has also got the support of big names of the industry. Artists like Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Anushka Sharma and Paresh Rawal have openly praised the film.
