After a screenshot from her new podcast recently went viral that showed her feet looking dirty, Blanco decided to address the issue on live television.
What was the ‘dirty feet’ controversy?
On February 24, Benny Blanco launched his new podcast ‘Friends Keep Secrets’ with rapper Lil Dicky. During the premiere episode, a photo spread like wildfire on the Internet, in which Blanco was sitting barefoot on the couch and her feet looked quite dirty. After this, social media users trolled him fiercely and also raised questions on the cleanliness of his floors.

Following the February 24 premiere episode, a photo circulated online showing Blanco sitting barefoot on Lil Dicky’s couch. Many social media users reacted to the dirty feet, posting comments about hygiene and mocking the condition of the floors.
Jimmy Kimmel Live! Upon arriving, Blanco was asked by the host about the online reaction. Responding to the controversy, Blanco said that the mess was not actually his and jokingly said, “It’s not mine.” He then took off a sock to reveal his foot during the show and said, “Look at that clean foot. Are you kidding?”
Lil Dicky, who was also a guest on Kimmel’s show, also addressed the situation and explained that the floors were probably dirty because it was the first day of shooting and crew members were moving equipment around.

Days after the clip went viral, singer and actor Selena Gomez was seen supporting her husband Benny. She shared a video of the couple kissing on Instagram and wrote, “My love, I fall more in love with you every day,” a post many fans considered a negative response.
