While talking in a podcast, Nikhil Nanda made it clear that his daughter Navya Naveli Nanda will not get any position in the company Escorts Kubota just because she is Nanda and Bachchan.
He said, ‘India is very intelligent in recognizing the governance history of promoters. Ultimately, everything is reflected in the share price. Now Navya Nanda wants to take more stake in Escorts Kubota. Because their surnames are Bachchan and Nanda, that is why they will not get a position in the company. He will have to earn that position. Let us tell you that the approximate market capitalization of Escorts Kubota is Rs 31,000 crore.
Apart from this, he said that Navya’s experience in Meta and understanding of digital ecosystem can prove to be useful. Escorts Kubota is increasing digital marketing and technology based operations. Regarding the children, he said in a light tone – My son says that he has become an actor and Navya is going towards tractor.
