The team of ‘Awarapan 2’ has released the new song ‘Yeh Awarapan’ from their upcoming film. This romantic song is sung by Arijit Singh, composed by Amaal Malik and written by Rashmi Virag. The song featuring Emraan Hashmi has been released jointly by Vishesh Films and Sony Music India and gives another glimpse of the much-awaited sequel.According to the makers of the film, ‘This song connects his past and present and shows that his only companion is his ‘wandering’.’

On July 7, 2026, the makers of ‘Awarapan 2’ released their first song ‘Ve Junoon’. This song is currently trending at number 37 in YouTube’s top music video chart. This song is composed by Mithun, sung by Subodh Sharma and written by Saeed Qadri.
The album of the 2007 film was a hit
The film ‘Awarapan’ released in 2007 became very popular among the fans. Although the film’s story and Emraan Hashmi’s acting were praised, its music also played an important role in creating its identity.

The sequel is expected to release in theaters on August 14, 2026, the Independence Day weekend. At the box office, it will compete with Sunny Deol’s film ‘Bantwara 1947’, which is being produced by Aamir Khan.
