But during the ‘2026 Actor Awards’ held on Sunday, March 1, an incident happened that fueled speculations that the ‘Spider-Man’ stars have now officially become husband and wife. It all started when Zendaya’s longtime stylist Law Roach spoke to Access Hollywood on the red carpet. When asked about Zendaya and Tom’s wedding date, she smiled and said, “It’s already happened.” When the reporter asked again, he laughed and said, “It’s absolutely true, you missed it!”

Their engagement rumors first began at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards on January 5, when Zendaya, 29, was seen wearing a diamond ring on her left hand. TMZ reported the next day that the two were engaged, citing sources close to the two. An insider later told PEOPLE that Holland, 29, had wanted to propose for a long time and always knew she was the one for him, adding that there was something very special between them.

a private love story
Dating rumors between Zendaya and Holland first sparked after they were cast together in Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016, though at the time they said they were just friends. Their relationship was officially confirmed in 2021 when they were photographed kissing in a car.
For those who don’t know, in September 2025, Holland quietly acknowledged their engagement during a panel event, when he corrected a reporter who called Zendaya his girlfriend, and softly added “fiancée.” The clip has created a stir online.
In a 2021 interview, Holland discussed the difficulties of protecting their relationship from public scrutiny, noting that private moments can easily become public.
