Music composer AR Rahman on Saturday warned those who were making objectionable remarks and making various speculations about his divorce from his wife Saira Banu. Rehman (57) on Saturday shared a three-page legal notice on social media, warning those who are propagating defamatory and objectionable content against him and his family.

The legal notice has given 24 hours time to remove such content, stating that failure to comply with the same may result in the accused facing legal consequences under the Indian Code of Justice, 2023.
Rehman’s legal team said that the actions of these individuals have not only tarnished his reputation but also caused trouble to his family. Rehman and Saira Banu were married in 1995 and have two daughters, Khatija, Rahima and son Amin.
