The phrase “The algorithm has registered yet another interaction” became a running joke as users recalled Kohli’s earlier explanation for a similar incident.

Despite this off-field discussion, Kohli is continuing his excellent form for Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2026.He scored 49 runs in 34 balls against Lucknow Super Giants, helping RCB seal a five-wicket win. With this innings, he reached the top of the list of highest run-scorers this season, and became the Indian opener to hit the most number of sixes in the history of IPL, leaving behind KL Rahul.

Now that explanation has become a different story in itself.
