Bollywood’s ‘Evergreen’ actor Anil Kapoor often shares his films and memories related to them on social media. Recently he celebrated 26 years of his cult classic film ‘Pukar’. On this occasion, he shared a video of his favorite song ‘Sunta Hai Mera Khuda’ from the film. While many fans got lost in nostalgia, a user’s comment has sparked a new debate on the internet.

Kapoor immediately responded and apologized. He wrote, “I’m sorry, I’ll repost it with both of their names,” for which he was praised for his humility.

Soon after, the actor re-shared the post, this time tagging all the artistes associated with the song. Sharing a short clip of Sunta Hai Mera Khuda, Kapoor wrote, “My favorite song from Pukar, listening to it again and again today!” He tagged composer AR Rahman, singers Udit Narayan and Kavita Krishnamurthy, lyricist Majrooh Sultanpuri, as well as Madhuri Dixit, Namrata Shirodkar, director Rajkumar Santoshi, cinematographer Santosh Sivan and producer Boney Kapoor.

Kapoor’s gesture received a positive response on social media, with many users replying with messages like “respect” and praising him for admitting his mistake. Some fans also said that there was no need to apologize, and praised the actor for handling the situation with grace.

Pukar, released in 2000, is one of Anil Kapoor’s most memorable films, and Sunta Hai Mera Khuda remains fans’ favorite song even after decades.
