For the past few days, speculations about a biopic being made on the famous screen icon Madhubala have been going on online. In some reports it was also claimed that actor Aneet Padda will play the role of the iconic star. However, industry sources have now rejected these claims and said that there is no truth in them.

An industry source has clarified that the news linking Aneet Padda with Madhubala’s biopic is wrong. An industry source said, “There is absolutely no truth in the news doing the rounds about Anit Padda being cast in Madhubala’s biopic. These claims are completely baseless.” Whether a biopic is being made on Madhubala or not has not been officially confirmed yet.
Will Aneet Padda act in Shakti Shalini?
In October 2025, there were also rumors that Aneet Padda might replace Kiara Advani in Shakti Shalini. At the time, Maddock Films addressed the speculation with an official statement dismissing the claims.
The statement read, “While we truly value the excitement of our horror-comedy universe, we want to make it absolutely clear that any reports regarding the casting of upcoming chapters, including Shakti Shalini and Maha Munjya, are purely speculative.”

Later, he got more recognition with the theatrical release Syara (2025) directed by Mohit Suri.Aneet will next be seen in the courtroom drama Nyay, in which she will once again team up with Nitya Mehra. The film also stars Fatima Sana Shaikh and Arjun Mathur.
