Audience divided over weak screenplay and boring beginning
While on one hand the action and performance are being praised, on the other hand a large section of the audience seemed disappointed with the storyline of the film. Many believe that the script does not live up to the scale and prestige that the YRF universe is known for.
One disappointed user wrote: “The beginning of the film was very boring, it is hard to believe that this is a film from YRF’s spy universe.”
Another user posted: “‘Alpha’ is a film that has some strong action moments, but an average and predictable story holds it back.”
It is clearly visible from most of the reactions that the story lacked the thrill and suspense which is seen in films like ‘Pathan’ or ‘Tiger’.
What is the story of ‘Alpha’?
The basic story of ‘Alpha’ revolves around two extremely talented female secret agents (Alia and Sharvari). Both of them set out on a highly sensitive and dangerous mission involving national security, deception and a fight for survival. The film is a mix of large-scale stunts, patriotism and emotional moments where the lead characters risk their lives to protect the country.
