Singer-composer Palash Muchhal is once again in the midst of controversy, a complaint has been filed accusing him of making casteist remarks. After being stuck in this legal trouble, Palash seems to be turning towards spirituality. Recently he was seen paying obeisance in many temples of Rajasthan. He has shared this picture on Instagram.

On Wednesday, Palash had shared several pictures on Instagram from his spiritual journey to Khatu Shyam Ji and Salasar Balaji temples of Rajasthan. In the pictures, Palash is seen bowing before God. In some other pictures, he is also seen posing with the temple officials. While sharing the pictures, Palash wrote, “Wherever the head bowed, there was peace, Khatu Shyam ji – Salasar Balaji, Jeevan Mata ji.” However, the singer has closed the comment section.

Let us tell you that these pictures have come out just a day after Palash got into legal trouble. A case has been registered against the musician for making casteist remarks against his ex-fiancée Smriti Mandhana’s childhood friend from Sangli. According to the report of TV9 Marathi, a case has been registered against Palash under sections of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. The complaint has been lodged by Vigyan Prakash Mane, a resident of Sangli and Smriti’s childhood friend.
Under which sections has the complaint been filed against Palash?
The complaint alleges that the incident took place on November 22 at a toll plaza on the Sangli-Ashta road, where Mane claims that Palash made caste-based derogatory remarks during an argument. Police have registered a case under section 3(1) as well as sections 351(2) and 352 of the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. Currently investigation is going on in the matter.
According to the report, the matter is related to financial dispute. Police said that Palash had allegedly borrowed Rs 25 lakh from Vigyan Mane for a film project, and Mane later contacted him to recover the amount. It is said that there was a dispute between the two when Mane raised the issue again, which started an argument between the two.

What has Palash’s lawyer said?
Meanwhile, Palash’s lawyer Shreyansh Mithare, reacting to the complaint and calling it a ‘publicity stunt’, has refuted the allegations and claims made by Vigyan Mane and asserted that he is planning to take legal action against Mane.
Earlier, Palash had come into limelight after the sudden cancellation of his marriage with his wife Smriti. Palash and Smriti’s wedding was to take place on November 23 last year, but the ceremonies were suddenly postponed due to the medical emergency of Smriti’s father. The concern increased further when Palash was also admitted to a hospital in Mumbai. After this, the market of rumors has become heated, some people are even alleging that Palash has cheated Smriti.
