Famous actor Rajesh Sharma’s health suddenly deteriorated due to a poisonous insect bite during the shooting in Hyderabad’s famous Ramoji Film City. Due to his critical condition, he has been admitted to the Critical Care Unit (CCU) of a private hospital in Kolkata, where he is currently under the strict supervision of doctors. According to reports, Rajesh Sharma was bitten by an unknown insect during the shooting of the film ‘Fauji’ in Hyderabad. Initially not realizing its seriousness, he left for Kolkata for his next work commitment. But as soon as he reached Kolkata, his health deteriorated drastically and due to the spread of infection, he had to be immediately taken to the hospital.

In a statement shared on The association raised questions on the circumstances related to Sharma’s medical emergency. He asked, “This incident raises many serious questions. If Mr. Rajesh Sharma’s condition had become so critical during the shooting, then why did the producers and the production house not immediately admit him to a major hospital in Hyderabad? Was the necessary emergency medical help available on the sets? Were all the necessary health and workplace safety protocols being followed? What exactly happened on the shooting location that caused his health to deteriorate to such an extent?”

The post read, “All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) appeals to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana, Shri Revanth Reddy to immediately order a high-level inquiry into the incident that took place on the ‘Fauji’ shooting set at Ramoji Film City. The investigation should find out the real reason behind actor Rajesh Sharma’s medical emergency, look into whether workplace safety, cleanliness and emergency medical protocols were followed, and investigate into the producer, production Any negligence on the part of the House or any responsible official must be identified.”

It further added, “If any lapse or negligence is found during the investigation, strict legal action should be taken against all those responsible. No individual or production house should be exempted from accountability, regardless of the scale or budget of the film.”

The association also appealed to the film makers to take responsibility for Sharma’s treatment. “AICWA also demands that the producers and production houses bear the full cost of Mr. Rajesh Sharma’s treatment and ensure that he gets the best treatment till he makes a full recovery,” the statement said.
