Well-known actress Apara Mehta, who has spread her acting skills from small screen to big screen, has surprised everyone by making a big revelation about her personal life. Apara, who tied the knot 44 years ago, married actor Darshan Jariwala. However, both have been living separately for more than two decades without divorce.
Apara Mehta and Darshan Jariwala may have separated, although both have not legally distanced themselves from each other. This couple had ended their journey which started four decades ago, two decades ago. Now Apara has created a stir by giving a shocking statement regarding her marriage and husband. The actress told that Darshan had ended the relationship calling her an ugly woman.
Husband said- ‘We have to talk very important…’
Recently, Apara Mehta spoke openly about her personal life in an interview given to Hotterfly. She told that one day when she was in America for her show, she got a call from Darshan and he said, ‘We really need to talk.’ The actress further said that I started wondering what happened? What do they want to say?

‘You are the ugliest woman in my life…’
Apara further told that after finishing the show, she returned home. The actress said, ‘After finishing the show, I came to India. After getting off the flight at 3 o’clock, I reached home at 5 in the morning and then I had a shift for my TV show from 7 o’clock. When I reached there, he said, “I think we should part ways because I have lost love for you.” You are the ugliest woman in my life. I don’t like you anymore.’
One day he left home
In the interview, the actress further told that then a day came when Darshan left the house and never came back. However, the relationship between the two still remains cordial. Both have mutual respect for each other and understand each other’s things.
The actress further said, ‘A day came when he left the house. This is still our home and the doors of the house are always open for them. But I think he will never come back. Neither will I find anyone like him nor will he find anyone like me. We are living separately, but are very comfortable with each other and for each other.
Darshan-Apara’s marriage took place in 1982
Apara Mehta was born on 13 August 1960 in Bhavnagar, Gujarat. Darshan Jariwala, two years older than him, was born in Mumbai on 29 September 1958. Both of them met through a theater group. Both of them came close to each other while working together. After this both of them got married in the year 1982. At that time, Apara was 18 years old, while Darshan was 20 years old. Both of them also have a daughter named Khushhali who is an actress. Khushhali, who was a theater artist, made her TV debut with the show ‘Wagle Ki Duniya’. She has also worked in the production houses of JD Majithia and Aatish Kapadia.

Separated in 2003
Darshan Jariwala and Apara Mehta separated after almost two decades of marriage. In 2003, Darshan ended his relationship with Apara. Although both of them did not move for divorce and even now both of them are living separately without divorce.
