According to reports, the minor girl who complained told the police that even after her refusal, Rohit was harassing her by repeatedly calling and messaging her from his personal number and many other mobile numbers. The girl alleges that on July 5, Rohit came near her house building and chased her. Not only this, Rohit abused her and also beat her. Police officials have confirmed that Rohit and the 16-year-old girl already knew each other.
Police arrested Rohit Chandel from his house on Friday. After this he was presented in the special POCSO court, from where he has been sent to police custody. At present the police is investigating this entire matter in depth. Rohit Chandel started his career with a small role in the serial ‘Har Mushkil Ka Hal Akbar Birbal’.
