Comedian Rajeev Thakur recently talked about his poverty and struggle. He told that to him his house seemed like a public toilet. He said that his childhood was spent in poverty. Despite coming from an elite family, his parents were thrown out of the house and he was forced to live in a one-room house.
Rajiv Thakur worked in comedy shows like ‘The Great Indian Laughter Show’, ‘Comedy Circus’, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ and ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’. Rajiv Thakur said, “We couldn’t even pay the rent. There was only one 40-watt bulb in the room. I hated yellow light because I had never seen a tube light.
