Actress and politician Smriti Irani, who played the timeless character of ‘Tulsi Virani’ in the show, recently met her on-screen niece ‘Indu’ i.e. Karishma Tanna. This meeting is also important because Karishma Tanna made her television debut in 2001 with the famous show ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’. She played the role of Indira Gandhi (also known as Indira Virani), the niece of Smriti Irani’s character Tulsi Virani. Karishma remained a part of this soap opera till 2005.
