David Dhawan cried at the trailer launch of ‘Hai Jawaani To Ishq Hona Hai’, said – ‘Varun remained with me like a shadow in the hospital’

The trailer of Varun Dhawan’s film ‘Hai Jawaani To Ishq Hona Hai’ was originally scheduled to release on May 21, but it was postponed due to a controversy. Today, Saturday 23rd May, the trailer of Varun’s film was finally released. Along with this, a trailer launch event was also held in Mumbai, in which the film’s director David Dhawan, lead actor Varun Dhawan along with Mrunal Thakur, Pooja Hegde and the rest of the star cast were also present.During the event, director David Dhawan became emotional and burst into tears. Speaking in both the roles of director and father, he shared many heart-touching anecdotes about Varun.

A video of David Dhawan from the trailer launch event is going viral on social media, in which he is seen crying uncontrollably. This emotional moment came because of Varun Dhawan. David said, ‘As an actor, Varun will continue to improve; He will play any role exactly the way you want. But, as a son, he is truly peerless. When I was ill, he stood by me every moment in the hospital.

David further revealed how much Varun takes care of him; Mentioning this, tears welled up in the director’s eyes. Seeing his father crying, Varun Dhawan also became quite emotional.

The trailer of ‘Hai Jawaani To Ishq Hona Hai’ has now been released and in just three hours the film has received 730,127 views on YouTube. It is also trending at number 11 on YouTube’s ‘Movies Trending’ chart.

 

 

‘Hai Jawaani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ is scheduled to release in theaters on June 5. Apart from Varun Dhawan, stars like Mrunal Thakur, Pooja Hegde, Mouni Roy, Jimmy Shergill, Manish Paul, Chunky Pandey, Rakesh Bedi and Ali Asgar will also be seen in this film.Directed by David Dhawan and produced by Ramesh Taurani, the film is being described as ‘a perfect blend of comedy, love, confusion and family drama’.
