However, the big turning point in his life came when his mimicry and comic timing got tremendous recognition in ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’. Later, she became famous in every household with the role of ‘Vidyavati Teacher’ in ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’.

Sugandha Mishra was born on 23 May 1988 in Jalandhar, Punjab, in a family where music was in every fiber of her being. His family belongs to the famous Indore Gharana, many generations of which have spent time in the practice of music. Her grandfather Pandit Shankar Lal Mishra was a great master of classical music and it was he who taught Sugandha the first steps of music.

The impact of the musical atmosphere at home was such that Sugandha started practicing from a very young age. His understanding of tunes was so deep that at the age of just 14, he started singing professionally on stage. Everyone was stunned to see his melodious voice and singing skills. Sugandha Mishra later completed her studies in music from Guru Nanak Dev University and APJ College of Fine Arts. During her college days, she used to participate enthusiastically in youth festivals. During this time, she met Kapil Sharma, who was active in theater and comedy at that time, whereas Sugandha’s entire focus was only on singing.

Sugandha came to Mumbai city to fulfill her dream. Initially, he worked as a Radio Jockey (RJ) in Big FM and provided voice for many advertisement jingles, bhajans and documentaries. After this, he participated in the famous singing reality show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ and reached the finals on the basis of his excellent singing.

The biggest turning point in Sugandha’s life came when she auditioned for ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’. In this show, his comic timing and style of mimicking famous stars made him famous overnight. After this, her character of ‘Vidyavati Teacher’ in ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ made her popular in every household.

Even after becoming such a big star in the comedy world, Sugandha never distanced herself from her first love i.e. music. She sang songs in films like ‘Kamal Dhamaal Malamaal’ and even today she creates a stir with her live music performances in the country and abroad. She often adds such a touch of humor to her comedy that people burst out laughing.

If we talk about Sugandha’s personal life, she married her fellow comedian Sanket Bhosle in the year 2021. Fans like their pair very much on social media. After this, in the year 2023, both of them became parents of a lovely daughter and today Sugandha is enjoying her professional life as well as her family life very beautifully.
