Shilpa Shinde admitted that she had made false allegations of sexual harassment against the producer of ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’. Hina Khan had condemned it and called it ‘shameful’. Countering this, Shilpa Shinde has issued a statement, in which she took a sharp jibe at Hina Khan without mentioning her breast cancer and her father’s death. Shilpa Shinde accused her of seeking publicity and said that she could not live with the burden of lies on her heart. Besides, he also advised people to watch ‘Mahabharata’ to understand his point.

She is just standing up for a girl’s father and a woman’s husband (producer Sanjay Kohli), because they lied then. Shilpa said that she cannot live with such a big lie on her heart. If the producers had been arrested then, she would have considered herself guilty today.

The controversy dates back to the year 2015-16, when Shilpa Shinde became an overnight star by playing ‘Angoori Bhabhi’ in ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’. She left the show in March 2016 accusing the makers of mental harassment. Later, she also filed a case of sexual harassment against producer Sanjay Kohli, which now in June 2026 she herself termed as completely fake and fabricated.
