Hina Khan reacted to Shilpa Shinde’s revelations
Hina Khan has posted a statement on her X account (earlier Twitter), reacting to this revelation by Shilpa Shinde. She wrote, “I generally don’t talk about anyone, I never comment or react on anyone’s personal matters, I only speak when it is about a sensitive issue, an issue that affects all of us, especially women, as a society. Being a public figure and having the right to speak, I must do my duty.”

Hina further wrote in her post, “Yes, it is absolutely shameful to use your womanhood to damage someone’s image to win a dispute. And everyone is absolutely right in protesting against it and demanding justice. I am shocked. But I want to talk about the ‘real victim’ here. A respected man, who has a wife, daughter and many other women in his family… A hard working man with many iconic shows.” The allegations made by the producer, who suffered such torture, were not only baseless, but were used to take advantage, win, claim and compromise without recourse to law.

He further said, “And yet, the same producer gives the same show to the same person. Another launchpad, another mouthpiece, another relevance, another opportunity to give validity to her false claim of sexual assault… What if the actress repeats it? After all, the same show has been given to the actress by the same person whom she had falsely accused. I am shocked.” He wrote in the caption of the post, “The joke is on us.”

Shilpa had leveled allegations against the show’s maker in 2016
In 2016, when Shilpa left the popular sitcom ‘Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain’, she accused the makers of harassment, non-payment of dues and poor working environment. The matter ended with a settlement. He said his friends had warned him and asked if he knew what he had done. However, Shilpa explained to him that she had no other option as she had no option left after leaving the show. Let us tell you that in 2025, Shilpa returned to ‘Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain’!
