TV’s Naagin i.e. Mouni Roy is in the headlines these days due to her separation from husband Sooraj Nambiar. The couple had recently confirmed their separation with mutual consent. A few days later, Sooraj has now broken his silence on the news of divorce with the actress by sharing a long note on Instagram Stories and has also denied the news of alimony, dispute and interference of any third person. This statement of Sooraj comes after several online reports which claimed that there is tension between the estranged couple, while some social media users had also dragged Disha Patani into this controversy.
What did Sooraj say about separation with Mouni?
Suraj Nambiar has said in his post that ‘there is no alimony’. In his note, Suzar wrote, “The recent baseless news spread regarding our separation is baseless and completely malicious. I want to make it clear once and for all that there is no alimony. There is no dispute. There is no third party involved in it.” The businessman also clarified that he and Mouni have decided to separate respectfully and privately.
Sooraj wrote, “Mouni and I have decided to separate out of mutual respect and keeping each other’s well-being in mind. That’s the truth. All other reports are fabricated, and in some cases, a deliberate attempt to defame two people who have simply asked that they be left alone.”
What did Sooraj Nambiar say about Disha Patani?
Over the past few days, many rumors have been spreading online linking other people to the couple’s separation, Mouni’s close friend Disha Patani is also being trolled on social media, as she has also been dragged into the discussions related to the separation. Without taking anyone’s name, Sooraj strongly refuted all external claims in his statement.
He said, “I want to say this clearly and finally: There is no truth in any of the claims being made about either of us or about any third party. It is not right to drag other people into this. Especially our innocent friends who had nothing to do with this.” He further said, “Mouni and I have behaved with dignity during this period and we expect that those reporting about this will also treat us with the same respect.”

Sooraj also criticized the media reports related to his separation with Mouni and accused some media outlets of spreading wrong information without confirming it. Suraj said, “Media organizations have chosen the option of creating fabricated stories that do not exist. These reports have been published without any verification, which is absolutely not right. I am clearly and directly opposing this, because remaining silent in the face of deliberately spread misinformation is not acceptable to me.”
Suraj appealed to the people for privacy
While concluding his note, Suraj requested people to respect his privacy in future. He said, “Everything has been said in our joint statement. I request everyone to respect it and give us both a chance to move forward peacefully.”
