Recently, in an interview given to IANS, he shared some interesting stories, which are still fresh in his memories. The actor shared an interesting thing related to Phoolan Devi. He says that he had joked about the short stature of the ‘Bandit Queen’, but then he just kept looking at the reply he got.

The actor told that generally he was never nervous in interviewing any big person. But when Phoolan Devi came to his show, the first thing he noticed was an interesting thing. According to Shekhar, Phoolan Devi’s height was short and her feet were not reaching the ground after sitting on the chair.

Shekhar Suman remembered special moments

Seeing this, Shekhar joked in his special style. He asked, ‘How did you use a gun while sitting on a horse when your feet did not reach the ground?’ Hearing this question, Phoolan Devi kept looking at him for a few moments. After this, Shekhar asked him a serious question that despite living such a dangerous life, does he ever feel afraid of anyone?

Phoolan Devi gave a befitting reply

To this Phoolan Devi replied smilingly, ‘I am afraid of you, because you shoot with questions.’ Hearing his answer, everyone present there laughed. The actor says that he is not good till date and those words are still fresh in his memories.

Shekhar Suman also shared a funny experience related to Bal Thackeray. He told that once Bal Thackeray himself called him and praised his show. As soon as Shekhar saw the opportunity, he asked for permission to interview him. According to him, the conversation was so interesting that after the interview was over, Bal Thackeray said that there should be another interview. On this Shekhar jokingly said that he did not have time to change his clothes. Bal Thackeray immediately replied, ‘No problem, let’s do another interview in the same clothes’.
