Referring to the restrictions, Kanika said, ‘I was interrupted since childhood and was always told that you cannot wear black clothes inside. Don’t wear red colored clothes either, because they will be clearly visible outside. If they are seen, what will people outside think and how will people feel?

Kanika further said, ‘What is the color of your inner clothes, that also becomes a big issue for the society. Due to this fear we had to change the colors. For example, if you are wearing a white dress, then you cannot wear a red colored bra inside, because then people start looking at you in the wrong light.

Apart from clothes, Kanika also talked openly about her marriage. He told that due to this pressure of the society, he got married very early. He said, ‘I got married early just thinking what will people say? Then after marriage, the fear started bothering me that if I don’t have a child, what will people say?

There was pressure not only from outsiders but also from the family. Kanika told, ‘My husband used to say that all my friends have had children, I feel very strange among them. My mother-in-law said that having a child in the house increases the love between husband and wife and the fights also reduce.

Kanika clearly said that after getting trapped in the trap of what people would say, she finally decided to have a child. Today Kanika is the mother of a lovely son. Even though this decision was taken under pressure, today she is very close to her son and shares a strong bond with him. The actress also told that she had reached the shoot on the 12th day after delivery.
