Bollywood actress Kiara Advani has taken a strong stand on the rumors going on about her upcoming film ‘Toxic’. For the last few days, it was being claimed in the media and social media that Kiara has demanded the makers of the film to remove or shorten some of the intimate scenes filmed with her co-star Yash. Now the actress herself has revealed the truth of these news. These speculations came to light when this film, directed by Geetu Mohandas, was continuously making headlines online.
It was said in the news that after watching the final cut of the film, Kiara had expressed some concerns and requested to shorten some parts. It was also claimed that he initially agreed to shoot a bold romantic scene because he was assured that it would be within his ‘comfort zone’, but later changed his mind after seeing the final output.

Kiara directly rejected these claims on social media. Sharing a news report on her Instagram Stories, she wrote, “Absolute nonsense.”
This claim was made in a report in ‘Gulte’, which said that Kiara had contacted Yash and Mohandas and requested to cut some intimate parts of the film. His post clearly denied this entire sequence of events.
Release of ‘Toxic’ postponed
‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’ was initially scheduled to release on June 4, 2026, but has now been postponed. Yash later confirmed that the film would no longer release in theaters on the previously scheduled date.
In a statement, Yash said that the film has been completed and the team is now working on its global distribution and partnerships. He said, “‘Toxic’ has been completed, and we are currently finalizing its global distribution and partnerships. With this in mind, we have decided to reschedule our release.”

He also mentioned the response at CinemaCon and said that it further strengthened the makers’ belief that the film should “reach its full potential around the world”. In another part of the statement, he said, “Some films we make, and some films remind us why we fell in love with cinema. ‘Toxic’ has also been one such journey.” Produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, the film will also star Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth and Tara Sutaria.
