Meanwhile, the contractor and his related parties have responded. Jignesh and M/s Mehta & Company issued a statement saying that the property in dispute has no connection with Asit Kumar Modi. He says that this construction is being done with complete legal process and approvals. He also termed Urvashi’s allegations as wrong and objected to Asit Modi’s name being dragged in this case.

At the same time, according to media reports, Asit Kumar Modi also said on this whole matter that he has nothing to do with this property and he is surprised that his name was added to it without any reason. He said that if Urvashi had any problem, she could have talked to him directly.
