Dhurandhar: The Revenge is a high-voltage cinematic experience whose hype was very high even before its release and the film lives up to the expectations to a great extent. The story shows the journey of Jaskirat Singh Rangi to become Hamza Ali Mazari in prequel style, with a strong angle of his training and revenge. The first half of the film is very engaging and intense, but the beginning of the second half seems a bit slow and some political scenes feel forced. Despite being about 4 hours long, it mostly keeps you engaged, although the length does feel a little. The action and violence are next level, some scenes are quite disturbing. VFX look average at some places but the overall impact is strong. Talking about acting, Ranveer Singh has given outstanding performance, while Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan and Sanjay Dutt are also quite impressive. Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi also surprise. The direction is strong by Aditya Dhar and music by Shashwat Sachdev has made the film more impactful. Overall this is a solid theater experience.
