Jordan won the award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor, while the award was expected to go to Timothée Chalamet for Marty Supreme. The results of the Actor Award can be impactful for the Academy Award, as its voting will continue till Thursday.

Meanwhile, Jessie Buckley won Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role for Hamnet and Sean Penn, Amy Madigan won supporting actor awards for One Battle After Another and Weapons. Renowned actor Harrison Ford was honored with the SAG-AFTRA Life Achievement Award, presented by actor Woody Harrelson. At the Television Awards, the late Catherine O’Hara was posthumously honored for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Comedy for her role as a movie producer in the Hollywood satire, The Studio.
Drama Series, The Pit won the award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, while actor Noah Wyle won the award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series. The Actor Awards are given by members of the SAG-AFTRA actors union. Award winners are closely watched because actors make up the largest group of voters for the Academy Awards, which take place on March 15.
