Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah show has been entertaining people for many years. Every character of the show has made its own special place in the hearts of people. Many Tappus have appeared in the show so far and people have given a lot of love to everyone. When the show started, Bhavya Gandhi played the character of Tappu. Bhavya left the show in 2017. Now Bhavya has told the reason behind leaving the show.
In a special conversation with Hindi Rush, Bhavya Gandhi has told the real reason behind leaving Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. He has said that his first thought of leaving the show came when he felt that his character was dying. That character was not being shown the way it was shown earlier.
character should not be killed
Bhavya said- ‘Due to age, those of us who used to look like Golu-Molu had started growing beard. Suddenly green shade started appearing. You can’t show innocence in that. So he was not ready for everything. I had also requested that work should be done on these things. I wanted the character I am playing to move forward and not be killed. If we look young in the show then people of our generation will face a lot of problems. There are many stories around people of our age which should be shown. It would have been fun but from the creators’ point of view things are not possible in that zone. When all this was happening, I submitted an application to the makers. But due to contract, he could not do two shows simultaneously. Because of this I left the show.
Left the show to learn new things
Bhavya told that when she could learn new things, she left the show to learn them. It was not the reason why this happened. This did not happen because of anyone else.
