Referring to the Prime Minister’s appeal, Haley advised that instead of buying more gold in the traditional way, investing money in options like mutual funds could be more beneficial.

Giving the example of her personal life, Haley said that she has learned this skill of saving money not from any class, but by watching her father. He said that his father never sat him down and gave him bookish knowledge, but he developed his understanding only by observing the home environment and his father’s financial decisions. Today they themselves decide how much of their earnings will go into fixed deposits (FD) and how much will be invested in mutual funds. He believes that every person should be wise about his expenses and should act judiciously, because in today’s era, only your proper financial security can save you from the troubles of tomorrow.

Haley also spoke openly about her journey and its challenges in entering the world of OTT from the television industry. Haley admitted that the biggest difficulty for small screen actors is to get out of people’s preconceived notions. Even today, many makers and viewers see the artistes only with the tag of ‘TV actress’. It was also a big challenge for Haley to step out of her comfort zone and work on a platform about which she did not know much. However, Haley believes that if you get the right opportunity and you continue to do good work, then people’s thinking can be changed gradually. OTT has proven to be such a wonderful medium for them.
