Actor Sharad Kapoor, who plays the character of Prakash Sharma in the film Josh starring Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai, is in big trouble. He has been accused of molestation by a 32-year-old woman, who has claimed that he called her to his home on the pretext of discussing a project. The complainant has also alleged that Sharad made unwanted advances and sent obscene messages.

Khar police have registered a case against him under sections 74, 75 and 79 of the Indian Justice Code (BNS) and have summoned him for questioning in connection with the allegations. According to police officials, the incident allegedly took place on November 26, 2024, when the victim was called to Kapoor’s office on the pretext of discussing work on a video reel.

According to police officials, “Upon arrival, she claimed that Kapoor was dressed inappropriately and attempted to assault her. After the incident, she received obscene messages from Kapoor, including a voice note, which The victim has demanded legal action against him, highlighting the need for accountability in the entertainment industry.” However, there has been no comment from the actor on the allegations yet. Meanwhile on the work front, Sharad Kapoor has not been very active in films. However, he has recently worked on some projects. His last film was the Indo-Polish romantic thriller No Means No.
