PHD in India: It is not easy to get a doctorate (PhD) in India. For this, there should be a master’s degree in the respective field (eg MA, MSC, MTECH, MBA, MCom etc.). After this, it is also necessary to pass national or university level examination. The period of PhD in India is usually 3 to 5 years.
