He has appealed to the authorities to find these people and provide justice to the girl. Munmun Dutta shared a poster on which it was written, “Justice for Baruipur.” He simply wrote in the caption, “A 12 year old girl, a little girl, who was raped and murdered. Find these people.”
Not only Munmun Dutta, actress Jaya Bhattacharya has also expressed objection to this accident. He has appealed to give the harshest punishment to the accused. Apart from this, he condemned the increasing atrocities and exploitation against girls and women and criticized the police system as well as the system.

Let us tell you, on July 5, the body of a 12-year-old girl was found in a pond in Baruipur area of West Bengal. She was missing since July 4. The family members of the deceased girl allege that she was raped and then murdered. However, the police have not yet confirmed this allegation. The post-mortem of the body of the minor girl was completed on the night of 5th July. Police say that the reason for the murder will be known only after the post mortem report comes. According to the police, the post mortem report will also reveal whether she was raped or not and further cases will be registered on the basis of the report.
On Monday, July 6, Baruipur police district imposed prohibitory orders under Section 163 of the Indian Civil Defense Code, 2023 in the areas of three police stations under its jurisdiction. With the imposition of prohibitory orders, gathering of five or more people at the same time and place in the areas of these three police stations has been banned till further orders.
Heavy police force has been deployed in the area. Tension spread after the body of a minor girl was found in a pond in Baruipur on Sunday. Local people protested. It is alleged that a young man was beaten to death on suspicion of being the girl’s murderer. But there has been no official confirmation regarding this.
