TV actress Shilpa Shinde has recently come into controversy after accepting the false sexual harassment allegations leveled against the makers of ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain’. The actress had revealed on comedians Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa’s podcast that she made the allegations because she had “no other option” to resolve her contract-related issues. At the same time, after Shilpa’s confession of these false allegations, AICWA has demanded action against the actress and a fair investigation from the CM of Maharashtra. Now Shilpa has reacted on this.
Shilpa said this on AICWA’s demand for action
Let us tell you that amidst the increasing criticism of Shilpa Shinde on social media, AICWA (All Indian Cine Workers Association) issued a statement condemning the actress and also appealed to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to intervene in the matter and take strict action. On Saturday, Shilpa continued her defense by sharing a new post on Instagram and wrote in a cryptic message, ‘Uproot whatever you want.’

AICWA had condemned Shilpa Shinde’s statement
Let us tell you that on Friday, AICWA had issued a statement on Instagram saying that Shilpa’s confession of making false allegations of sexual harassment against the film ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain’ maker Sanjay Kohli is a matter of concern for the entire Bollywood and television industry. Condemning the making of false allegations, the association wrote, “All Indian Cinema Workers Association (AICWA) believes that if someone deliberately makes false allegations, it not only causes harm to the accused. “Not only does it reduce the credibility of genuine victims demanding justice. Such incidents can cast doubt on valid complaints and make it even more difficult to listen to and believe real victims of harassment in the Bollywood film industry.”
