Smriti Irani and Ekta Kapoor showcased their old friendship on social media, as the second season of Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi returns in 2025, with Smriti and Amar Upadhyay again in the lead.

Mumbai. Smriti Irani and television queen Ekta Kapoor have once again given their fans a glimpse of their unbreakable friendship of more than two decades. Ekta Kapoor on Thursday reshared a post shared by Smriti on her social media account, in which Smriti wished Ekta all the best for her new business. Thanking Smriti for her love, Ekta said that it is a matter of pride for her to be with Smriti.
Ekta Kapoor wrote on her social media account, “My Tulsi, your support is a matter of great pride for me.” He also added heart emojis. Smriti wrote in her social media post, “You have always been shining, Ekta Kapoor and today you have given others an opportunity to shine as well… Congratulations for another success.”
Ekta addressed Smriti by the name of her character in the famous serial ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’. Talking about this show, it was produced by Balaji Telefilms and it premiered in 2000. The show became one of the most successful serials of Hindi television, with the character of Tulsi Virani played by Smriti being considered one of the most beloved characters of Indian television.
