New Delhi. ‘Pinky Bua’ i.e. Upasana Singh of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ has shown such a glitzy face of the glamor industry that everyone is surprised to hear. He clearly said that as colorful and bright as this world looks from outside, it is equally scary and bitter from inside. According to Upasana, behind this glamor lies the hard struggle of the artists, terrible poverty and uncertainty that persists every moment. Upasana told that people only see the shine of the stars, but no one knows about the struggle and hardships hidden behind it.

Difficult to afford in an expensive city like Mumbai

He told that many artists are barely able to earn Rs 1200 a year. Some get work only for four-five days in a year. In an expensive city like Mumbai, it becomes very difficult for them to meet the rent, children’s school fees and household expenses.

One has to struggle to survive in the industry

Upasana further said, ‘How much is left in hand after deducting TDS and paying the coordinator’s commission? Many times these artists do not even have money for medical expenses. They cannot go to the doctor. Taking care of their health also becomes a luxury for them. They just have to struggle continuously to survive in the industry.

Heartbroken to see the condition of the artists
