Pranit More Apologized: Standup comedian Pranit More is constantly being criticized in the Rs 370 biryani controversy. People are expressing their anger against him on social media. Now he has again released a video and apologized and said that I deserve hatred and now I will show myself as a better person.

Pranit More said in the video, ‘I wanted to do this for a long time. But, my Instagram was suspended. You all must have seen a video of mine for which I am getting a lot of hatred and I feel that I deserve this hatred because when I was talking to that boy, he said very derogatory things. Everyone was laughing at his words and I also got carried away and made a mistake in deciding between right and wrong.

Praneet further said, ‘I think this was a big mistake of mine. If I wanted, I could have stopped him, but I couldn’t. I gave him a platform due to which these things increased so much. I want to apologize to all those who have been hurt by this. I am also cooperating with the authorities for whatever legal action is being taken against me. I just want to request you all to please give me a chance. I will prove myself as a better person. This was a learning for me also. Recently a video of Pranit More’s show went viral. In this, a 22 year old boy named Himanshu Jangra from Gurugram was talking about his date. He had told that he had ordered biryani worth Rs 370 for his female friend and after eating the biryani, the girl had asked him to leave the house, although the boy had said that he wanted to recover his money from her. That means he wanted to get physical with the girl. Apart from this he had said even more derogatory things.
Hearing the words of Himanshu Jangra, the people sitting in the audience and Pranit More were also laughing a lot. After the video surfaced, there was a huge uproar on social media. In this matter, earlier Pranit More had apologized and said that this is the personal opinion of the boy, although all this happened on his show and his own platform. When the dispute escalated, the boy had to lose his job in Gurugram. At the same time, Praneet is also constantly on the target of people. Legal action is also going on against them. Meanwhile, Praneet has again apologized.

In this controversy, many celebrities including social media influencer Sakshi Shivdasani, actress Kusha Kapila, Ayesha Khan, Reem Shaikh and Elvish Yadav had opposed Himanshu and Praneet. Meanwhile, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis advised comedians that social boundaries or dignity should not be violated in the pursuit of entertainment. He said, ‘Everyone enjoys stand-up comedy. I myself also see this, but it is not right to violate social boundaries or dignity for the sake of entertainment. This would be injustice to the people. Therefore, I believe that stand-up comedy should at least be done keeping in mind the minimum standards of dignity.
