Along with her serials, the actress always remained in the headlines due to the ongoing turmoil in her personal life. After an ongoing dispute with her husband, she decided to end the relationship, but last year in 2025, Piyush died just a few months after the divorce. Now Shubhangi has remembered her ex-husband and called him her true love.
Shubhangi Atre has shared an old photo with ex-husband Piyush on social media in which both of them are looking very young. Along with old photos, Shubhangi has also shared old and good memories. She has described her ex-husband as her true love. The actress shared the photo and wrote, ‘Piyush, I miss you a lot, even though life took us on different paths, our relationship never faded, rather it remains deeply embedded in my heart every day. Some relationships never end, only their form changes and our relationship is also one of them.

Piyush died in the month of April in the year 2025 due to serious liver disease. Both of them got divorced just a few months before their death. According to the actress, Piyush had become a victim of alcohol addiction and this was the reason why both of them had to separate even though they did not want to. The actress got married in the year 2003.
