Let us tell you that Nehal Vadoliya has been seen in episode number 2772 of the TV show ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’. She played the role of Munmun Dutta aka Babita’s friend in the show. In this show, her character’s name was Neha, who along with Babita reaches Jethalal’s (Dilip Joshi) shop to get her phone repaired.
‘We are made to feel inferior’
In a podcast given to Suno India, Nehal Vadoliya spoke openly about ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’. He said emotionally, ‘The experience of the show was very good. Only after that I got a chance to lead. I have told this many times, but I have not told this to anyone, I don’t know out of fear… or why? If you go to any show for cameos or 1-2, you are made to feel inferior.

He further said, ‘Cameo or one-day-to-day characters do not get a dress, they wear their own dress. I reached the set wearing a dress. The lead saw that dress and her dress was also similar, so someone would ask her to change her dress. The lead asked someone else to change my dress. I was not comfortable in the dress I wore in Taarak Mehta, because I had not done any bold scene till then. When I said that I am not feeling good because my cleavage is visible in it, she said that you will have to wear this dress, madam has said, we will hide it with hair.
‘The people around us make us feel down’
Nehal says, ‘If you are working in a big show like Taarak Mehta, then how will you say that no, no, I will not do it. I also said okay, okay, no one… then we get suppressed. You are made to feel inferior. Sometimes they also say that looking at you it seems that you cannot become a lead actress, you can only do a role for 15-20 days. The people around us make us feel down.
