Rupali Ganguly demands National Award for TV artists
Let me tell you that TV actress Rupali Ganguly, who played the lead role in TV’s most popular show ‘Anupama’, spoke in an open conversation with Viral Bhayani. Without any hesitation, he said, “There are national awards for all, film stars, content creators, but there is nothing for TV artists.”

,We work very hard ‘
Further in the conversation, Rupali explained how TV actors are often ignored despite their long shooting schedule and hard work. During the Covid-19 epidemic, where most of the industries slowed down, television continued at its normal speed and also artists. Rupali further said, “Even during the Kovid-19 epidemic, we continued to work. When a film star works continuously, one or two days become a big news, it is a national award for everyone but not for television artists. But no one talked about how we TV actors worked without stopping during Kovid.”

He also requested the Government of India, saying, “I request the government to recognize our efforts too. We work very hard. We will also be a very good thing if we get some importance from the government.”
