TV actress Shilpa Shinde is once again embroiled in controversies. After his recent statement regarding his old allegations, he is facing sharp criticism on social media. Amidst the growing controversy, Shilpa does not seem to be backing down. He shared such a video on social media, which many people are seeing as an open challenge to critics and opponents. New Delhi. Shilpa Shindes, who became famous in every household as ‘Angoori Bhabhi’ from the show ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’, has been caught in the web of many controversies. Shilpa Shinde recently confessed during a talk show that the allegation that she had made years ago against the producer of ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ of sexual harassment was completely false. After this shocking revelation, he is being strongly criticized in the entertainment industry and social media. After this confession, now All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has demanded strict action against him, to which he has again reacted.
In fact, Shilpa Shinde, who recently appeared on the podcast of famous comedians Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachiyaa, told that when she left the show ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ in 2016, there was a dispute going on with the makers regarding her contract. Shilpa claimed that at that time she was so helpless that she had ‘no other option’ to resolve the dispute except to falsely accuse producer Sanjay Kohli of sexual harassment. This U-turn of Shilpa surprised the entire TV industry.
Condemning Shilpa’s statement, All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has appealed to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to intervene and take strict action. AICWA said in a statement released on Instagram, ‘Making false allegations not only harms the accused, but also affects the credibility of the real victims. This casts doubt on genuine complaints and may suppress the voices of genuine survivors in the Bollywood-TV industry.

Amidst the trolling, Shilpa Shinde posted a stern message on Instagram. In one reel, she wrote with her photo – ‘Become a woman! Always be ready to say that whatever has to be uprooted, uproot it. Along with this he wrote in the caption – ‘Those who are jealous, keep burning, do not give your blood to any needy, end it by burning.’
Let us tell you that while leaving the show in 2016, Shilpa Shinde had accused the producers of harassment, non-payment and poor working environment. Later this dispute was ended through agreement. However, now after years, his new statement has brought that entire matter into discussion again.
Interestingly, Shilpa Shinde also returned to the show in 2025. She told that she joined the show again on the request of the writer and now she has a good understanding and relationship with the entire team. At present, the debate is going on regarding Shilpa’s statement and her social media posts. On one hand her critics are demanding action while on the other hand Shilpa seems to be sticking to her stand.
