Sharing a video on his Instagram Story, the comedian admitted that some of the things said during the incident were wrong, but he also said that those involved have already been punished enough. Munawwar said, “I think now we all should stop. The comedian said a very wrong thing, a lot of wrong thing happened in crowd work too. I disagree with what that girl also said, I don’t like to hear what she said. But there is a level.”
Munawwar further said, “FIR was filed, job was lost, career was over, respect in society was lost, everything is done. A lot of bad has happened to him for his words, but now stop. In the name of content, he is being squeezed, just do it brother.” He ended the note by saying, “They got the consequences of what they said. When someone’s dead body is found, you will understand. Just do it now. There is a limit to everything, whatever has to happen to them legally will happen, but you keep quiet now.”

What is the Rs 370 biryani controversy?
Let us tell you that a video of Praneet More’s recent stand-up show had gone viral and a controversy started after that clip received a lot of criticism online. In the clip, 23-year-old Himanshu Jangra had said that he had spent Rs 370 on a plate of chicken biryani during a date and hence he was hoping to get a “return” on that expenditure. His comment received a sharp reaction on social media and people criticized both Praneet and Himanshu. After huge protests, both Himanshu and Praneeth released videos and apologized and also deactivated their social media accounts for some time.
Himanshu is facing serious consequences after this controversy. He had to lose his job. He used to work in ‘Starvik Design’ and the company’s founder Vivek Vishwakarma had announced this decision by sharing a video on social media. Not only this, Maharashtra Cyber Police has also registered a case against Pranit More. National Commission for Women (NCW) has sent summons to Praneet and Himanshu in the case of controversial comments.
