Deepika keeps sharing glimpses of her life with fans through social media. The actress’s husband is the owner of a cosmetic company. Bindi and are the owners of Tips and Toes Cosmetics. This family business has been running under the name ‘Shringaar’ since 1961, which is specialized in traditional Indian cosmetics.
Deepika had told in an Instagram post how she met her husband for the first time. The actress had said that she was shooting for her debut film ‘Sun Meri Laila’. In a scene in this film, she had to model for the advertisement of Shringaar Kajal. Deepika was a model and Hemant came on the set.
The first meeting on the set proved to be very special for both of them. The actress had won the businessman’s heart at first sight. However, in the first meeting this relationship could not progress beyond conversation. After finishing the shoot, both of them moved ahead in their respective lives, but kept thinking about each other.
Deepika tells that in the initial days of her career, there were often discussions on the sets about future and work. During the same time, Hemant also started helping his father in his business along with his studies. The paths of both of them were different, but an unspoken connection remained somewhere.
Time passed, but the memory of Deepika remained in Hemant’s mind. Many years later, one day he saw Deepika in a parlor near his house. It was a coincidental meeting, which refreshed old memories. Later Hemant himself admitted that Deepika had never gone away from his thoughts in all these years.
After this, fate worked to bring both of them closer once again. Their meeting was arranged through a family friend on 28 April 1991. Even though this meeting was their first formal conversation, the connection between the two was so deep that within about two hours of conversation they realized that they were made for each other. Without any confusion or doubt, both of them decided to name their relationship at that very moment.
Immediately after the meeting, both of them reached their respective homes and informed the family about this decision. The special thing is that the very next day, i.e. 29th April, is Deepika’s birthday. A small ritual ‘Goldhana’ or Roka was performed in the presence of both the families. This moment became the official beginning of their relationship.
From then till today the love of this couple continues even today. Looking at both of them, it seems as if they had met today. Deepika keeps sharing photos with her businessman husband on social media from time to time.
